Studio
The createch lab behind the work
A research, design and engineering studio turning ambitious ideas into interactive, immersive technology — based in Tunis, working across MENA and internationally.
Our story
Takolor started in Tunis in 2014 — a small lab obsessed with one thing: making hard, interactive things actually work. Not an agency chasing accounts. An atelier chasing mastery. In 2016 it found its place as the R&D and engineering atelier of the SoWhen? group. The group dreams big with the world's most demanding brands; Takolor builds what others call impossible — and makes it ship.
Two things run in our blood. From Carthage, audacity — we find a way, or we build one. From the discipline of the blade, the patience to refine the same move a thousand times until it's right. Bold in what we take on; relentless in how we finish it.
We're not trying to become something else. We're trying to get better — the same path, cut deeper, every year.
We build what others call impossible.
We don't sell intentions — we ship things that run, in production, in front of real
crowds.
Artist and engineer, one mind: beautiful and robust are the same decision.
The people who pitch you are the people who build.
Bold like Carthage. Precise like the blade.
Designed. Shipped. Engineered.
Part of the SoWhen? group
SoWhen? dreams big with the world's most demanding brands; Takolor is the atelier that makes it real. As the group's R&D and engineering arm, we turn proven ideas into reusable, production-grade technology — drawing on the group's partnerships with Epic Games, Meta and HP. Two sister houses, one move.

Tunisia createch talent
We're based at Sésame University in Tunis and grow our team through academic partnerships (Sésame, ESPRIT) — accelerated training, apprenticeships and work-study. This is more than nearshore talent: it's a craft we hand down. An atelier lives by its lineage — master to apprentice — and we build the bench that will build what comes after us.
